About the Role
We’re hiring a Cannabis Trimmer to join our post-harvest production team. In this role, you’ll hand-trim cannabis flower to Juniper’s quality standards, helping turn freshly harvested plants into the polished, market-ready product our brand is known for. This is hands-on, detail-focused work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
What You’ll Do
- Hand-trim cannabis flower using shears/scissors to remove excess leaf material while preserving trichomes and bud structure
- Sort and grade trimmed flower according to Juniper’s quality standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant workstation
- Accurately track and report trimmed weights and batch counts
- Follow all state and company compliance protocols, including seed-to-sale tracking requirements
- Handle product with care to minimize damage and maximize yield
- Work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of quality and consistency
- Collaborate with the production team to meet daily and weekly targets
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and SOP (standard operating procedure) guidelines
What We’re Looking For
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Previous trimming or cannabis industry experience not required — we’re happy to train the right person
- Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and perform repetitive hand motions
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and quality standards consistently
- Must be able to pass a background check and comply with state cannabis licensing requirements
- Must be able to obtain any required state cannabis worker permit/badge
