Duties
- Perform tire replacements, rotations, balancing, and repairs with precision and efficiency
- Conduct oil changes using appropriate lubricants and ensure proper disposal of used fluids
- Assist with wheel alignments to optimize vehicle handling and safety standards
- Diagnose basic automotive issues using diagnostic tools and mechanical knowledge
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely to complete maintenance tasks accurately
- Inspect vehicles for maintenance needs, including brake checks, fluid levels, and tire condition
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and recommending additional maintenance when appropriate
Skills
- Dealership or automotive repair experience preferred, with a strong foundation in vehicle maintenance
- Proven mechanic experience with automotive diagnostics and mechanical knowledge
- Familiarity with tire service equipment, alignment tools, and oil change procedures
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and standing during shifts
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
- Service technician experience is a plus, along with a solid understanding of automotive service standards
