Responsibilities
- Solution Design: Develop end-to-end architecture for BSS solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.
- Integration: Ensure seamless integration between BSS and Operations Support Systems (OSS), as well as other IT systems.
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical specifications.
- Technology Selection: Choose appropriate technologies to meet performance, scalability, and cost requirements.
- Documentation: Create detailed documentation of the solution architecture and design processes.
- Technical Leadership: Provide guidance to development and implementation teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Optimization: Conduct system performance analysis and recommend improvements.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a bridge between business units and technical teams to ensure alignment and understanding.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 8 years of experience in telecommunications or IT architecture roles. Practical experience in leading complete solution architecture for transformation programs
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of telecom protocols, standards, and technologies, as well as systems integration and cloud computing (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Certifications: Relevant certifications like TMF Certified, TOGAF practitioner, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, are often preferred.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
Technical Skills
- Telecom Domain Knowledge: Understanding of telecom processes like billing, CRM, product catalogue, order management, provisioning, and assurance.
- Telecom Standards: Familiarity with telecom protocols and standards like TM Forum Framework (ODA, API standards, eTOM, SID, TAM).
- System Integration: Expertise in integrating BSS with OSS and other IT systems, including APIs, middleware, and data migration techniques.
- Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud technologies and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) to design scalable and flexible solutions.
- Database Management: Proficiency in managing databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, Redis, Cassandra & Oracle
- Programming Languages: Knowledge of programming/scripting languages like Java, Python, ReactJS, for designing and testing solutions.
Analytical Skills
- Problem Solving: Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve complex technical and business problems effectively.
- Requirements Analysis: Strong skills in gathering, understanding, and translating business needs into technical solutions.
- Technical Documentation: Creating clear and detailed documentation for system architecture and design.

- Communication: Excellent ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and vice versa.
