The IIE’s Emeris, Pretoria Campus has a vacancy for a Sessional Worker(Part-time Lecturer): Bachelor of Education Introduction to EMS

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

• Minimum of a BEd Hons degree with specialization in Intermediate Phase

Minimum Work Experience Requirements:

School teaching experience in component subjects is required. Ideally, lecturing experience at tertiary level.

Minimum qualification:

A minimum of a B.Ed. Honour’s degree/Postgraduate Diploma in Education (at NQF level 8)/ Humanities/Arts/Sciences/Social Sciences Honours degree (at NQF level 8)
And:
The undergraduate or postgraduate qualification must include a module on Teaching and Learning/Pedagogy.
And:
The undergraduate qualification or postgraduate qualification must include component subjects to at least NQF level 6 (usually the 2nd year of study)

Working Conditions:

• Please note that this is an Independent Contractor role
• Positions are part-time, with lectures taking place between 08:00 and 17:00, Monday to Friday
