IT Support Technician Position Available
We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated IT Support Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure, providing technical support to staff, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, installing security systems, and ensuring the smooth operation of all technology systems within the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day IT support to users across the business
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues
- Manage user accounts, passwords, and access permissions
- Monitor and maintain company networks, internet connectivity, and Wi-Fi systems
- Install, configure, and maintain CCTV camera systems
- Install and troubleshoot network cabling and camera infrastructure
- Support CCTV, access control, biometric, and time attendance systems
- Perform regular system updates, backups, and maintenance
- Maintain IT asset registers and equipment records
- Liaise with external service providers and vendors when required
- Ensure data security and compliance with company IT policies
- Provide feedback and reports to management on IT performance, issues, and recommendations
- Assist with the implementation of new systems and technologies
Requirements
- Proven experience in an IT Support, IT Technician, or similar role
- Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting CCTV camera systems
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking, and troubleshooting
- Experience with Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, and email systems
- Good understanding of routers, switches, firewalls, and network infrastructure
- Experience with network cabling, IP cameras, NVRs, and DVR systems
- Knowledge of access control and biometric systems will be advantageous
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Strong reporting and documentation abilities
- Must be computer literate, organized, and detail-oriented
- Valid driver’s licence will be advantageous
