In this role, you will apply your expertise in tree care, horticulture, to ensure healthy, safe, and aesthetically pleasing environments. Your skills in rigging, tree trimming, and operating bucket trucks will be essential to executing safe and efficient tree management projects.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive tree assessments to determine health, stability, and risk factors using horticultural knowledge and GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools.
- Execute tree pruning, trimming, and removal with precision, adhering to safety standards and industry best practices.
- Operate bucket trucks, and rigging equipment safely to access high or difficult-to-reach areas of trees.
- Holding a CDL is a preferred.
- Collaborate with team members on projects involving rigging, bucket operation, or specialized pruning techniques to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Qualifications
- Certified Arborist certification from a recognized industry organization.
- Skid steer, stump grinder, crane, grapple boom saws and ability to obtain government access badging.
- Strong knowledge of tree care practices including pruning, trimming, planting, and disease management.
- Skilled in rigging procedures for safe removal or pruning of large trees.
- Experience operating bucket trucks or aerial lifts such as bucket trucks safely and effectively.
- Familiarity with GIS technology for mapping and data management related to landscape projects.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including climbing trees or working at heights with proper safety equipment.

Pay: $29.00 – $35.00 per hour
