WORKSHOP SUPERVISOR / FOREMAN – AUTOMOTIVE
Our client in the automotive industry is seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor/Foreman to lead their workshop operations in Roodepoort!
Location: Roodepoort, Gauteng
Salary: R20,000 – R25,000 CTC
Benefits: Medical Aid + Provident Fund
Essential Requirements:
✅ Red Seal Trade Qualification (Motor Mechanic/Diesel Mechanic)
✅ Proven supervisory/foreman experience in an automotive workshop
✅ Strong technical knowledge of vehicle repairs and maintenance
✅ Valid driver’s license
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage workshop technicians and mechanics
Oversee daily workshop operations and workflow
Ensure quality control and adherence to manufacturer standards
Manage job allocation and ensure deadlines are met
Monitor workshop productivity and efficiency
Ensure health and safety compliance in the workshop
Conduct quality inspections on completed work
Drive team performance and productivity
Liaise with service advisors and management
Essential Skills:
Strong technical automotive knowledge
Leadership and team management abilities
Planning and organizational skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Problem-solving and fault-finding abilities
Understanding of workshop procedures and standards
