We’re looking for a skilled Woodworker / Cabinet Maker who takes pride in their craft, puts the team before self, and wants to do the best work of their career alongside people who feel the same way.
What You’ll Do
As a Woodworker / Cabinet Maker at Gaston & Wyatt, you’ll work across the full scope of custom millwork production — building cut lists, milling and shaping lumber, constructing casework, performing veneer work, and executing fine traditional joinery, including mortise and tenon, dovetail, lock miter, and French miter. You’ll operate industrial machinery, including sliding table saws, mortisers, frame clamps, band saws, and shapers, on both interior and exterior millwork. You’ll also install hardware and see projects through from start to finish, setting the finishing team up for success with high-quality work on some of the most distinguished residential projects in the country.
What We’re Looking For
The right Woodworker / Cabinet Maker for this role will bring experience, precision, and a passion for their craft to the shop floor every day.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in millwork, casework, or fine furniture construction
- Proficiency in reading and working from architectural drawings and shop drawings
- Solid understanding of traditional and conventional joinery techniques
- Ability to lift and carry 75 pounds and perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, and kneeling
- High School Diploma or equivalent
You’ll Stand Out If You Have
- Experience with shaper setup and running straight and radius items
- Familiarity with curved work and proper joinery techniques
What We Offer

- Pay: $25.00–$32.00 per hour, based on experience
- Health benefits: Medical (Aetna), Dental, and Vision coverage — including HSA-eligible plans with $600 in annual company contributions

- Time away: PTO starting at 80 hours annually, six paid holidays, weekly Thursday pay, and no weekend work
