Experienced Cabinet Maker
We are looking to add an additional employee to our quickly growing woodshop shop in North Plainfield NJ. We manufacture custom cabinets and wood racks. Must be hard working and detail oriented. Pay starts off between $25-35 per hour and is based on experience. Hours are 7AM – 3:00PM. Please send your resume ASAP. Position is available immediately. This is a full time and year round job. Key Responsibilities
* Understand the different types of hardwoods and their characteristics
* Joinery and mill work, using both wood working machines and hand tools
* Collaborate with others in a fast paced environment
* Ability to read shop drawings
* Balance multiple projects at once
Qualifications:
* Minimum 2+ years in wood working
* Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and create efficiencies in production
* Detail-oriented and focused on meeting deadlines
* Exhibit enthusiasm, passion, creativity and commitment
* Drug testing required
* Skills test will be a part of the interview process
*Someone who is self-motivated, works well alone and with others, and is looking to be part of a team of artists that create one-of-a-kind custom products.
