Warehouse Stock Controller Jobs in Mkondeni at Dhoda Group
We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Warehouse Stock Controller to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing raw material and finished goods inventory, supervising warehouse and dispatch operations, and ensuring stock accuracy and control throughout the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Control and manage stock levels of raw materials and finished goods
- Ensure accurate receiving, issuing, and recording of stock movements
- Supervise warehouse staff and dispatch operations
- Ensure stock is handled, stored, and issued according to FIFO (First In, First Out) principles
- Conduct regular stock counts and investigate variances
- Monitor and maintain stock accuracy within the warehouse
- Perform quality checks on incoming and outgoing goods
- Ensure all goods delivered meet company quality standards
- Coordinate loading and offloading of vehicles
- Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safety standards
- Generate stock and warehouse reports for management
- Work closely with production, purchasing, and management teams
- Assist with stock audits and inventory reconciliations
Requirements
- Minimum Grade 12 (Matric)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in stock control, warehouse management, or a similar role
- Forklift operating experience (valid forklift licence will be advantageous)
- Strong understanding of stock control procedures and inventory management
- Experience supervising warehouse and dispatch operations
- Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and stock control systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and reporting skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Must be diligent, organized, and reliable
