Key Responsibilities
- Guest Experience: Provide a warm, professional welcome and attentive service to residents and visitors.
- Menu Expertise: Maintain a deep knowledge of our food and wine offerings to make informed recommendations and answer dietary queries.
- Precision Service: Execute seamless table service, from taking accurate orders to polished plate clearing and beverage service.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure timing and quality are consistently met.
- Environment Upkeep: Ensure the dining area remains pristine and inviting throughout the shift.
Requirements & Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should bring a refined skill set and a proactive attitude. We are looking for:
- Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in a high-end, fast-paced, or fine-dining environment.
- Wine Knowledge: Basic to intermediate knowledge of wine pairing and service etiquette.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal communication skills and a high level of English proficiency.
- Professionalism: Impeccable grooming standards and a calm demeanor under pressure.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with POS (Point of Sale) systems.
- Flexibility: Ability to work shifts, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
- Transportation: Reliable transport to and from Val de Vie Estate.
