Position Summary

VIVÂMEE Hospitality is seeking an exceptional Vice President of Sales to lead, inspire, and elevate the sales organization across our growing portfolio of lifestyle, luxury, golf, resort, wedding, event, culinary, and experiential hospitality assets.

This leader must be more than a sales executive. We are looking for a servant leader, culture carrier, team builder, revenue driver, and brand ambassador who understands that sales in hospitality is not simply transactional — it is relational, emotional, intentional, and sacred.

The Vice President of Sales will be responsible for building, coaching, and scaling a high-performing team of sales professionals who embody the VIVÂMEE virtues of Joy, Humility, and Ministry while consistently delivering exceptional revenue results across weddings, group sales, corporate events, social events, golf outings, memberships, lodging, catering, and property-level revenue opportunities.

This role requires a proven background in luxury hospitality, lifestyle resorts, experiential venues, private clubs, destination properties, weddings, and/or high-touch event sales. The ideal candidate will bring a strong commercial mindset, an ability to develop people, and the leadership presence to help VIVÂMEE continue growing with excellence.

The Vice President of Sales must lead in a way that protects, strengthens, and multiplies this culture across every sales conversation, team meeting, client experience, and revenue strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership & Strategy

The Vice President of Sales will develop and execute a portfolio-wide sales strategy that drives revenue growth across all VIVÂMEE properties and business segments.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead the overall sales strategy for weddings, social events, corporate groups, golf outings, memberships, catering, lodging, banquets, and experiential packages.
  • Create annual, quarterly, monthly, and weekly sales plans aligned with company revenue goals.
  • Build clear sales goals by property, department, salesperson, and revenue segment.
  • Partner with property leaders, marketing, operations, revenue management, catering, golf, culinary, and finance to maximize every revenue opportunity.
  • Identify new business opportunities, market segments, strategic partnerships, and referral channels.
  • Strengthen VIVÂMEE’s position as a premier lifestyle and luxury hospitality brand.
  • Drive a culture where sales are seen as everyone’s responsibility and every guest interaction is an opportunity to serve, educate, and deepen relationships.

Team Building & Talent Development

This role will be responsible for continuing to build, mentor, and develop a best-in-class sales organization.

Responsibilities include:

  • Recruit, hire, onboard, train, and develop high-performing sales professionals.
  • Build a sales team that reflects the VIVÂMEE standard of excellence, warmth, professionalism, and servant leadership.
  • Create consistent sales training programs focused on luxury service, consultative selling, urgency, follow-up, closing, relationship building, and storytelling.
  • Coach sales leaders and sales professionals through regular one-on-one meetings, pipeline reviews, performance reviews, and development plans.
  • Establish clear expectations for sales activity, responsiveness, professionalism, client experience, and revenue conversion.
  • Develop future sales leaders from within the organization.
  • Foster a sales culture rooted in accountability, encouragement, confidence, and care.

Luxury & Lifestyle Guest Experience

The Vice President of Sales must understand how to sell more than space. This role is responsible for helping the team sell experiences, emotion, memories, lifestyle, and belonging.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensure every client interaction reflects a luxury, personalized, high-touch experience.
  • Teach the team how to tell the story of each VIVÂMEE property with passion, purpose, and authenticity.
  • Elevate site tours, proposals, presentations, follow-up communication, and closing experiences.
  • Ensure sales professionals understand the full guest journey from inquiry to event execution.
  • Partner with operations to ensure promises made during the sales process are delivered with excellence.
  • Build sales strategies around weddings, retreats, golf experiences, culinary events, waterfront experiences, vineyard experiences, wellness, lodging, and destination hospitality.
  • Protect the VIVÂMEE brand by ensuring professionalism, responsiveness, warmth, and hospitality are present in every client touchpoint.

Revenue Growth & Performance Management

This leader will be directly responsible for driving measurable revenue growth across the sales organization.

Responsibilities include:

  • Own and manage portfolio-wide sales goals and property-level sales performance.
  • Monitor sales pace, booking trends, conversion rates, lost business, pipeline health, lead response times, and close ratios.
  • Review weekly and monthly sales activity reports with each property.
  • Hold sales professionals accountable to defined activity standards and revenue outcomes.
  • Create action plans when performance is below goal.
  • Identify opportunities to maximize revenue through upselling, packaging, premium experiences, lodging, F&B, golf, memberships, and preferred vendor partnerships.
  • Work closely with finance and property leadership to understand profitability, margins, and revenue contribution.
  • Support pricing strategy, proposal standards, minimums, and booking guidelines.

Sales Systems, Process & Accountability

The Vice President of Sales will bring structure, consistency, and discipline to the sales process.

Responsibilities include:

  • Standardize sales processes across the portfolio while allowing each property’s unique identity to shine.
  • Ensure proper use of CRM and sales systems.
  • Develop consistent reporting, dashboards, scorecards, and pipeline review processes.
  • Establish standards for inquiry response time, follow-up cadence, proposal delivery, contract completion, and deposit collection.
  • Improve lead management, handoff processes, and communication between sales, catering, operations, and finance.
  • Create clear sales playbooks, scripts, templates, tour standards, and closing tools.
  • Ensure all sales professionals are trained on property knowledge, brand standards, client experience, and revenue expectations.

Cross-Functional Leadership

This role must work closely with executive leadership and property leaders to align revenue strategy with operational execution.

Responsibilities include:

  • Partner with the Chief Commercial Officer, CEO, CXO, COO, Resort General Managers, Directors of Sales, Catering Leaders, Golf Leaders, Marketing, and Finance.
  • Participate in leadership meetings, sales strategy sessions, property reviews, and revenue discussions.
  • Serve as a bridge between sales and operations to ensure alignment, communication, and execution.
  • Collaborate with marketing to support campaigns, lead generation, wedding marketing, social media, collateral, digital presence, and brand storytelling.
  • Help develop property-specific sales plans based on seasonality, market opportunity, property assets, and business needs.
  • Represent VIVÂMEE Hospitality with clients, partners, vendors, community leaders, and industry relationships.

The ideal Vice President of Sales will have:

  • Significant leadership experience in luxury hospitality, lifestyle resorts, private clubs, destination venues, hotels, golf resorts, weddings, or experiential hospitality.
  • A proven track record of leading multi-property or high-volume sales teams.
  • Strong experience in weddings, social catering, corporate groups, events, golf outings, memberships, and premium hospitality experiences.

Success in the First 90 Days

First 30 Days

  • Learn the VIVÂMEE culture, virtues, properties, leadership structure, sales teams, systems, and current revenue goals.
  • Meet with executive leadership, property leaders, sales professionals, catering leaders, marketing, finance, and operations.
  • Review current sales pipelines, booking pace, revenue reports, team structure, and CRM usage.
  • Evaluate current sales process, proposal standards, tour standards, follow-up cadence, and team accountability.
  • Identify immediate revenue opportunities and performance gaps.

First 60 Days

  • Create a portfolio-wide sales assessment and action plan.
  • Establish consistent weekly sales reporting and pipeline review rhythm.
  • Begin coaching sales leaders and sales professionals.
  • Identify hiring needs, training needs, and structure improvements.
  • Partner with marketing and operations to strengthen lead generation and conversion.
  • Launch immediate strategies to improve response time, site tours, proposals, closing, and lost business follow-up.

First 90 Days

  • Present a clear sales growth plan for the next 6 to 12 months.
  • Implement standardized sales scorecards and KPI dashboards.
  • Strengthen accountability across all sales professionals.
  • Improve pipeline visibility and forecasting.
  • Build a sales training calendar.
  • Identify future sales leadership candidates.

Position Mission Statement

Pay: Up to $250,000.00 per year
