Duties
- Safely operate vacuum trucks equipped with tanks and pumps to suction liquids, sludges, and debris from construction sites or industrial locations
- Conduct routine inspections of the vacuum truck to ensure proper functioning of all mechanical systems and safety features
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of equipment on-site, including connecting hoses and ensuring proper containment
- Coordinate with project managers and site supervisors to schedule pickups, deliveries, and waste disposal routes
- Support other heavy equipment operations such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, and dump trucks as needed
- Maintain accurate logs of work performed, materials transported, and safety inspections in compliance with company policies
- Follow all safety protocols and environmental regulations to prevent spills or accidents during operations
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge of vacuum truck systems and heavy equipment maintenance
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) preferred
- Familiarity with excavator, dozer, loader operation, backhoe operation, grader operation, water truck handling, horizontal drilling equipment, tanker trucks, and paving machinery
- Construction site experience demonstrating ability to navigate complex environments safely
- Knowledge of Caterpillar machinery or similar heavy equipment brands is advantageous
- Ability to operate dump trucks and water trucks efficiently across varied terrains
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and site personnel
- Safety-conscious mindset with attention to detail in equipment operation and maintenance

Pay: $20.00 – $23.00 per hour
