Treasury Operations Analyst

An exciting opportunity exists; we are looking for a detail-oriented Treasury Operations Analyst to join its treasury team in South Africa for 4 months. The role provides essential operational support to the treasury function, with a focus on daily cash management, reporting, and maintaining the integrity of cash data across a multi-currency, multi-territory group. The treasury function supports a multi-currency, multi-entity group with significant intercompany loan activity, FX exposure, and mobile wallet cash flows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cash control checks
• Update liquidity monitoring workbooks and data entry.
• Classify and categorise cash transactions in Kyriba (Treasury Management System).
• Import exceptional / manual cash transactions into Kyriba.
• Track and monitor intercompany cash transactions.
• Administer manual cash transfers between wallet accounts and bank accounts (pre-populated templates).
• Produce routine internal and external reports using standard templates.
• Generate standard monthly internal reports via Kyriba (FX rates, intercompany loans, fee receipts, cash balances).
• Monthly Bank mandate administration — work directly with JUMO’s bankers on mandate changes.

• Grade 12 mathematics and accounting, with at least 5 years’ experience in a financial/treasury role.
• Tertiary financial qualification (e.g. BCom, Diploma in Finance or Accounting).
• Strong organisational ability — methodical, disciplined and highly accurate.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent reporting skills with high attention to detail.
• Multi-territory and multi-currency experience preferred.
• Ability to adapt and work under pressure in a fast-changing environment

Advantageous / Bonus Skills:

• Experience with Kyriba or a similar Treasury Management System.
• Corporate banking, foreign exchange, or complex group structure experience.
• Experience with consumer credit cash flows.
• Background in a fintech, startup or high-growth environment.
