Training Officer: Engineering Jobs in Barberton at BARBERTON MINES
- Attend and facilitate classroom sessions on engineering theory, safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure consistent quality delivery of training.
- Take responsibility for the health and safety of employees within the designated area of responsibility.
- Ensure compliance with all site safety procedures and regulations within the Underground and Surface Training Centre.
- Plan and coordinate Engineering Cycle activities in line with set engineering targets and training objectives.
- Attend standards committee meetings.
- Update engineering learning material.
- Maintain and abide to Barberton Mines’ Training Quality Management System.
- Accurate reporting and administration of training activities and Learnerships.
- Liaise with legislators on training matters.
- Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent NQF 4 qualifications and/or similar qualification.
- Metalliferous Trade Certificate in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering.
- Facilitator, Assessor and Moderator Certificate.
- Occupationally Directed Education, Training and Development Practices (OD-ETDP) Level 4 certificate.
- Minimum of 2 years of Engineering training experience.
- Strong communication skills with people on different levels.
- Valid Certificate of physical fitness
- Valid Driver License code 8.
