Traffic Coordinator-Intermodal Freight, Ports of Charleston
Fast paced trucking office is looking for a professional, experienced Traffic Coordinator/CSR to perform administrative tasks and serve as liaison between customers and drivers. Ability to see multiple tasks through to completion is a must!
Hourly pay starting at $22.00/hour plus monthly bonus based on profitability and teamwork of the terminal
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
1. Acquire and share driver ETAs with customers
2. Enter all orders in TMS system daily
3. Schedule port appointments and acquire pins, as needed
4. Retrieve PODs, provide to customers within required time limits, and upload to TMS
5. Update our TMS and spreadsheets with information required to report on loads, Port pick up dates, Arrivals and EQ returns
6. Inform customers of any delays or possible issues with arrival of their goods prior to expected ETA
7. Respond to customer queries in a timely and accurate manner, via phone, email, text, or chat (high volume email traffic)
8. Retrieve EIRs, PODs, DOs, and other required billing documents and upload to TMS
9. Track vessels
10. Perform back up dispatch duties as needed
Requirements:
2 Years of Intermodal Freight experience (some dispatching preferred)
Ability to multitask, while ensuring tasks get fully completed
Data Entry
Microsoft Office/G Suite
Experience with port website
