Job Overview:
PCS is seeking highly skilled Tier 2 and Tier 3 Network Support Technicians with extensive experience solving network engineering tickets (connectivity, TCP/IP, VLAN routing) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise troubleshooting networking equipment and security solutions, particularly Ruckus, Aruba, and Fortinet products, in the Hotel and Guest support industry.
Key Responsibilities:
– Troubleshoot captive portal solutions for hotspot authentication using various authentication mechanisms.
– Troubleshoot Ruckus and Aruba switches in hospitality environments.
– Troubleshoot Fortinet gateways and firewalls, including interfaces and Access Control Lists (ACLs).
– Work with Ruckus and Aruba Controllers & SmartZones to troubleshoot wireless networks.
– Utilize Meraki Dashboard, Ubiquity and other access controllers to troubleshoot guest connectivity.
– Utilize Nomadix Gateways and Solution IP to troubleshoot guest connectivity.
– Support various Fortinet product models, ensuring a diverse and adaptable approach to security infrastructure.
Qualifications & Experience:
– Proven experience in the hospitality industry working with networking solutions.
– Hands-on experience with Ruckus, Aruba, and Fortinet networking equipment.
– Knowledge of ACLs, VLANs, and Spanning Tree configurations.
– Expertise in firewall configuration, switch configuration, and network security best practices.
– Familiarity with co-channel interference mitigation and wireless network optimization.
– Experience integrating networks with Property Management Systems (PMS).
– Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work in high-demand environments.
-Applicants must have dual monitors available for work or be willing to set up a dual-screen workstation.
Preferred Certifications:
– Cisco CCNA/CCNP (or equivalent)
– Meraki ECMS2 or CMSS or Paths 1,2,3
– Certifications in Aruba, Ruckus, Fortinet, or related fields are highly desirable.
– Fortinet NSE (Network Security Expert)
– Aruba Certified Mobility Associate (ACMA)/Professional (ACMP)
– Ruckus Wireless/Wired Certifications
