Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Tax Administrator to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will support the preparation and processing of tax documents, assist with financial record-keeping, and contribute to ensuring compliance with tax regulations. Duties
- Assist with the preparation of tax returns and related documentation using accounting software such as QuickBooks and Sage
- Support the review and organization of financial records, including bookkeeping entries and transaction logs
- Enter data accurately into various financial systems, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards
- Help analyze financial statements and concepts to support tax calculations and reporting processes
- Maintain detailed records of all tax-related documents, correspondence, and filings for audit readiness
- Collaborate with senior team members on client accounts, providing excellent customer service and clear communication
- Contribute to marketing efforts by assisting with client outreach and informational campaigns related to financial services
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; pursuing or completed post-secondary education in accounting, finance, or related field preferred
- Basic understanding of accounting principles, financial concepts, and math skills
- Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage is a plus
- Strong analysis skills with attention to detail and accuracy in data entry (10 key typing proficiency preferred)
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Ability to learn technical accounting procedures quickly and adapt to new software tools
- Prior experience or coursework in public accounting or corporate accounting is advantageous but not required
