Submersible Pump Technician (Workshop-Based)
We are seeking an experienced Submersible Pump Technician to perform workshop-based repairs, diagnostics, and overhauls of all types of submersible pump units.
Key Responsibilities
- Strip, assess, and overhaul submersible pumps (sewage, slurry, borehole, storm water, etc.)
- Mechanical and electrical fault finding
- Diagnose winding failures, insulation breakdown, bearing failures, and seal damage
- Conduct pressure and performance testing of pumps
- Ensure repairs meet OEM specifications and quality standards
- Compile detailed assessment reports and quotations feedback
Minimum Requirements
- Proven experience working on submersible pumps
- Trade qualification will be advantageous
- Strong knowledge of three-phase motors and control systems
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical schematics
- Fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Read, write and speak English
