Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finish Trim Carpenter to work within residential homes during business hours throughout the week. In this role, you will be responsible for installing interior trim, hanging doors, installing premade railing systems, installing cabinets and access doors. Ensuring precise craftsmanship and high-quality finished products. Your expertise in carpentry and the use of hand and power tools will be essential to delivering exceptional results on our lower level finishes. This position offers an a consistent opportunity to contribute to projects that enhance the aesthetic and functional of the finished basement concepts.
Duties
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install trim components such as baseboards, crown molding, door casings, window trims, and custom millwork with accuracy and attention to detail
- Utilize hand tools (e.g., saws, chisels, hammers) and power tools (e.g., nail guns, drills) safely and efficiently to complete tasks
- Prepare surfaces by sanding, or applying finishing materials to achieve smooth transitions and professional-looking finishes
- Collaborate with project managers, and other trades to coordinate installation sequences and ensure project timelines are met
- Assist with related tasks such as drywall finishing, plastering, or minor repair work when necessary
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites
Experience
- Proven experience as a Finish Trim Carpenter or in a similar carpentry role within construction or restoration industries
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship
- Knowledge of other related skills such as flooring installation (tile or wood), masonry basics, plumbing or electrical experience is a plus but not required

Pay: $25.00 – $40.00 per hour
