Position: STOCK CONTROLLER
Location: St Albans, Gqeberha
Employment Type: Full-Time
POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Store Controller to manage all stock control, receiving, issuing, inventory management, and reporting functions within a busy operational environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage all stock issuing processes, ensuring accurate allocation to job cards and technicians.
- Receive, inspect, and process all incoming stock from suppliers and depots.
- Maintain accurate inventory control through cycle counts, bin management, and stock accuracy checks.
- Process invoices, GRNs, and system transactions to ensure correct stock and financial alignment.
- Monitor and control diesel and lubricant usage in line with company procedures.
- Conduct daily tyre stock counts and ensure accurate tracking and control.
- Support warranty and returns processes as required.
- Perform general stores duties including housekeeping, equipment handling, and operational support.
- Ensure compliance with HR processes including leave management and injury reporting.
- Maintain accurate system records and complete daily, weekly, and monthly reporting requirements.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 (Matric)
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years’ stock control / storeman experience
- Valid driver’s licence required
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong computer literacy and administrative ability
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong planning, organising, and communication skills
- Reliable, honest, and disciplined work ethic
Pay: R15 000,00 – R20 000,00 per month
