Stock Controller

Hyundai Automotive South Africa is looking for a Senior Stock Controller who will be responsible for overseeing stock control and full logistics operations within the distribution function. The role ensures efficient stock management, timely delivery to dealers, and the optimisation of warehouse and distribution processes to support business objectives and customer satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and oversee all stock control functions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
• Handle full logistics operations including ordering, shipping, storage, transportation, and delivery to dealers
• Plan and deliver services that exceed customer expectations across all distribution activities
• Manage invoicing processes, including price list updates and reporting
• Utilise Excel (formulas, pivot tables) for reporting and data analysis
• Ensure effective warehouse operations and implement strategies to optimise service delivery to the dealer network
• Monitor and manage the rental agency fleet distribution process to ensure deadlines are met
• Apply strong attention to detail, time management, and multitasking skills in a high-pressure environment
• Maintain and apply knowledge of various distribution methods and best practices
• Communicate effectively (written and verbal) with internal and external stakeholders
• Foster a productive and engaging work environment, working both independently and within a team
• Identify and resolve conflicts in a fair and effective manner

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a senior stock control role
• Proven experience working with Inventory Management Systems (IMS)
• Strong knowledge of logistics and distribution processes
