Key Responsibilities
* Install solar panels, mounting systems, inverters, batteries, and associated electrical equipment.
* Conduct site assessments and assist with installation planning.
* Ensure all installations are completed according to industry standards and safety regulations.
* Perform electrical wiring and connections for solar systems.
* Test, commission, and troubleshoot solar installations.
* Carry out maintenance, repairs, and system upgrades when required.
* Identify and resolve installation issues efficiently.
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
* Complete job reports and installation documentation accurately.
* Communicate professionally with clients and team members.
Requirements
* Proven experience in solar panel and solar PV system installations.
* Good understanding of solar energy systems, inverters, batteries, and electrical wiring.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and installation plans.
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
* Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
* Valid driver’s licence will be advantageous.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
