ROLE OVERVIEW
The successful candidate will supervise commercial landscape construction sites, coordinate labour and materials, monitor productivity and quality, and provide administrative and operational support to Project Managers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise and coordinate landscape installation projects to achieve productivity, quality, budget, and deadline targets.
- Programme works, order materials, and assist Project Managers with project administration and RFI requirements.
- Manage labour, plant, tools, equipment, and site resources efficiently.
- Conduct site inspections, resolve operational issues, and maintain daily productivity records.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, security, and company procedures.
- Maintain professional relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, and consultants.
- Participate in disciplinary, grievance, counselling, and performance management processes.
- Promote high standards of workmanship, teamwork, and customer satisfaction.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma in Landscape Technology, Civil Engineering, Building Construction, or similar.
- 3–5 years’ experience in landscape construction, earthworks, heavy civil construction, or related industries.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and MS Projects.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
- Sound knowledge of project management and Occupational Health and Safety requirements.
- Valid RSA Code 10 driver’s licence with no endorsements.
- Stable employment history, contactable references, and no criminal record.
