Senior Technician / Technician – Turbovisory Systems
An EME based in Pretoria East, Waltloo is seeking energetic, skilled, and dedicated professionals to join their technical team.
Minimum Requirements:
- Nated Diploma, National Diploma, and/or Trade Certificate in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, Control & Instrumentation, or related qualification
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience for Technician
- Minimum 7 years’ relevant experience for Senior Technician
- Proven experience in fault finding, maintenance, and troubleshooting of turbovisory systems
- Hands-on experience working on the following systems:
- GEC Type7
- Bentley Nevada 3500 MHME
- Experience within power generation, industrial, or engineering environments will be advantageous
- Competency Certificate and/or CV with references clearly indicating the required knowledge and experience

Skills and Competencies:
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills on turbovisory and monitoring systems
- Ability to perform preventative and corrective maintenance activities
- Sound understanding of turbine monitoring and protection systems
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and system logic diagrams
- Good knowledge of plant safety procedures and compliance standards
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and respond effectively to plant breakdowns
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and maintenance reporting systems
