About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior IT Systems Engineer to join our IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a hybrid IT infrastructure while providing advanced technical support and driving innovation through emerging technologies.
This role requires a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable working afterhours and being on-call for incident response.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Hybrid Server Infrastructure
- Manage Backup Infrastructure
- Active Directory Management
- Cloud Applications Support
- IT Asset Management
- Perform L3 Desktop Support
- Improve IT processes and implement emerging technologies
- Configure and maintain VoIP systems
- Maintain Windows and Linux Server environments
Minimum Requirements
- Matric
- BSc Degree (Advantageous)
- CCNP or equivalent certification
- Azure Administrator Associate Certification
- Fortinet NSE Certification
- Advanced SharePoint Development & Administration skills
- Advanced knowledge of Windows and Linux Server OS configuration
- Advanced VoIP setup and troubleshooting experience

Working Hours
Monday to Friday
07:00 AM – 04:00 PM
Please note: This role requires afterhours support and availability for on-call incident response.
Salary Range
R 25 000.00 – R 35 000.00
Probation Period
A 3-month probation period will apply prior to permanent appointment.
