Senior Diesel Mechanic

• National Senior Certificate of equivalent to NQF4.
• Diesel Mechanic trade specific.
• 5 years post-trade experience as a Diesel Mechanic.
• Experience in maintaining Forklifts, Tractors and Trucks, preferable MAN Trucks.
• Code 14 driver’s license is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities:

• General overseeing of workshop by ensuring assignment of tasks according to required deadlines and mechanics complete tasks efficiently.
• Ensuring job cards are completed and submitted according to deadlines.
• Conduct daily breakdown repairs on light and heavy equipment.
• Conduct scheduled routine preventative maintenance and services on light and heavy equipment.
