Disruptive IT is looking for two Senior Active Directory Engineers to join a major enterprise environment based in Cape Town on a 12-month contract.
This opportunity is ideal for seasoned AD professionals with strong engineering and operational experience who can support and enhance a large-scale Active Directory estate.
Key Responsibilities
* Active Directory Domain Services (ADDS) administration and support
* AD Sites and Services management
* AD Replication monitoring and troubleshooting
* DNS and DHCP administration
* Group Policy Management
* Microsoft Azure and Entra ID support
* Virtual Machine administration
* Domain Controller deployments and upgrades (DC Promo)
* DFS and File Server Management
* Backup and recovery administration
* IT Security implementation and compliance
* Incident resolution, maintenance, and project delivery
Minimum Requirements
* Extensive experience with enterprise Active Directory environments
* Proven experience with AD Replication, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Entra ID
* Experience managing virtualized infrastructure
* Knowledge of DFS, file server management, backups, and security best practices
* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Advantageous Skills
* PowerShell scripting and automation
* ADFS
* Azure AD Connect
Mandatory Requirements
* Clear criminal record
* Valid South African driver’s licence
* Own reliable vehicle
* Ability to work on-site in Cape Town when required
Pay: R50 000,00 – R54 000,00 per month
