The Sales Representative is responsible for generating sales by promoting branding products and services, identifying client needs, and converting opportunities into revenue. The role involves building strong client relationships, monitoring the full sales process, and working closely with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery in a target-driven environment.
1. Sales Execution
- Achieving sales targets as set out by the Branding department, performance plans, and objective standards.
- Analyse sales data to identify performance gaps and develop actionable strategies to address them.
- Design and execute a strategic sales plan aimed at expanding the company’s branding customer base and strengthening market presence.
2. Customer & Market Intelligence
- Develop a deep understanding of ideal customer profiles and their alignment with our product offerings.
- Monitor emerging markets and industry shifts, maintaining awareness of new products and competitor activity.
- Recommend product, service, and policy adjustments based on performance results and competitive analysis.
3. Tender & Proposal Coordination
- Oversee the generation and management of tenders and tender responses, coordinating efforts across all relevant departments.
- Prepare professional PowerPoint and Word presentations to support sales initiatives and stakeholder communication.
4. Marketing & Lead Generation Alignment
- Collaborate closely with the Marketing team to optimize lead generation activities.
5. Pricing Strategy & Revenue Reporting
- Provide expertise in setting and revising pricing strategies and discount structures.
- Present comprehensive sales and revenue reports along with realistic forecasts to division management.
6. Client Relationship Coordination & Representation
- Represent the company professionally to clients, embodying company culture, values, and adherence to corporate policies and procedures.
7. Operational Support & Integration
- Support operational functions as required to ensure seamless business performance.
8. Workplace Conduct & Compliance
- Maintain professional conduct and ensure compliance with company dress code and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Uphold daily housekeeping standards to ensure a safe and organized work environment.
- Enforce and maintain health and safety standards across all operational activities.

Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing or related field would be advantageous.
- 2+ years’ experience in a sales role, preferably within a branding/signage/printing environment.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience using Embrace system would be advantageous.
- Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport.
