Job Summary
MTE Xpress is seeking a dynamic, target-driven Sales Executive to identify new business opportunities, develop client relationships, and drive revenue growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business, managing customer accounts, and promoting the full range of MTE Xpress courier and logistics services.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and cold calling.
- Achieve and exceed monthly sales and revenue targets.
- Conduct client visits, presentations, and solution-based sales discussions.
- Prepare and submit accurate quotations and proposals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
- Manage the sales pipeline and maintain accurate CRM records.
- Negotiate rates and service agreements within company guidelines.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and identify opportunities for account growth.
- Collaborate with Operations and Customer Service teams to ensure service excellence.
- Provide regular sales activity and performance reports to management.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- Minimum 3 years’ external sales experience.
- Previous experience in the courier, logistics, transport, or supply chain industry will be advantageous.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong customer relationship management abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
