Rigger/Steel Erector – Construction Jobs in Pretoria at Imvusa Projects
SKILLED LABOUR – RIGGER -STEEL STRUCTURES – WORKING AT HEIGHTS
Construction-STEEL ERECTORS required for hard working individuals who are prepared to work until the work gets done in a safe and professional manner.
Must have experience in WAH (WORKING AT HEIGHT) and structural work as well as general building works.

Working at Heights – Steel Fabrication
- Structural work – Steel structures , canopy repairs, new builds and maintenance – roofing and associated items Erecting and repairs to structures.
- working at height with proven track record is required
- Scaffold use – safe erection and use – certificates are required.
- Must be medically fit to work at height. – certificates required!
- Health & Safety – PPE associated with work tasks & experieince of Safe Work procedures, tool box talks and risk assessments
- must know welding – roofing structural work – welding certificate is advantageous
- finishing off – painting/body filler repairs / skimming / mechanical sanding
- MUST WORK – SAFE HAVE EXPERIENCE IN SAFETY
- Painting – preparation work and finishing detail and cutting.
Must have experience and be able to demonstrate competence in the following:
· Using power tools
· Drills portable and hammer
· Circular saw
· welding machine
· grinders big and small,
· impact hammers.
· Air compressor
· Jack-hammer
· Plate compactor etc.
Must be able to demonstrate competence/experience with the following:
- Hand tools – hammers, tools, rachets, vice grips, clamps, screwdrivers, side cutters, hand saws,
- Using small plant – must be able to demonstrate safe use of plant and equipment incl power tools
- Roof repair – steel structure repairs beams, channels and associated parts, sheet metal and canopy and building facia’s and roof sheeting.
- Gutters residential and industrial box gutters

· Must live in PRETORA AREA as you will be based there.
· STRICTLY – MUST HAVE SOBER HABITS
· ZERO TOLARANCE FOR DIS-REGARD TO SAFETY
· MUST HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE , 5-10 YEARS IN SIMILAR FIELD – PETROLEUM INDUSTRY WILL BE AN ADVANTAGE
· MUST BE SOUTH AFRICAN WITH VALID DOCUMENTATION AND PROOF OF ADDRESS.
Pay: R300,00 – R400,00 per day
