Job Summary
Return & Exit Agent
We are seeking a customer-focused and detail-oriented Return & Exit Agent to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing an outstanding customer experience during the vehicle return process while ensuring all rental transactions are completed accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers as they return their rental vehicles and provide a professional, friendly, and efficient experience.
- Complete vehicle return inspections, accurately documenting fuel levels, mileage, existing damage, and any new damage.
- Ensure all rental agreements are properly closed and all charges are processed accurately.
- Explain final rental charges to customers and answer any questions regarding their rental.
- Identify opportunities to recover additional revenue when applicable, including fuel charges, late returns, vehicle damages, or other rental-related fees.
- Coordinate with the fleet and wash bay teams to ensure returned vehicles are processed quickly and made rental-ready.
- Maintain an organized return lane and ensure vehicles are parked in the appropriate locations.
- Communicate effectively with the front desk, fleet, and management teams regarding vehicle status and customer concerns.
- Follow all company policies and procedures while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Deliver exceptional customer service during high-volume periods and professionally resolve customer concerns.
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions and stand or walk for extended periods.
- Safely operate a variety of vehicles while maintaining a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, as business needs require.
- Previous customer service, automotive, or car rental experience is considered an asset but is not required.
