Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Retail Sales Associates to join our dynamic team. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, driving sales, and maintaining a high level of store appearance. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales and the ability to effectively communicate with customers from diverse backgrounds.
Responsibilities:
– Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing concerns in a friendly and professional manner.
– Ring sales and handle customer transactions accurately and efficiently using a point-of-sale (POS) system.
– Maintain a high level of store appearance by ensuring that all products are organized and displayed effectively
– Develop and maintain relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
– Previous retail sales experience is preferred.
– Knowledge of different types of fish preferred but not required.
– Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
– Basic math skills to accurately handle customer transactions.
– Proficiency with POS systems.
– Excellent communication and organizational skills.
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
– Multilingual skills are a plus, particularly in languages spoken by the local community.
– Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
