Duties:
– Prepare surfaces for painting such as sanding, scraping, and patching
– Apply paint or other finishes to surfaces using brushes, rollers, or sprayers
– Mix and match colors for desired shades
– Perform basic carpentry work related to painting projects
– Utilize hand tools and equipment effectively
– Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment
Qualifications:
– Proven experience in residential painting
– Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
– Proficiency with hand tools essential for painting tasks
– Knowledge of fixture installation techniques
– Experience with welding, masonry, concrete finishing, plastering, restoring, and stucco is a plus
