Registered Professional Nurse Jobs in Pietermaritzburg at John Peattie House
- Must be registered with SANC.
- Police Clearance Certificate.
- Driver’s license and own transport to work essential.
- Monday – Friday (07.30 – 16.30), however must be able to work shifts as well.
- Must be passionate about holistic care for mentally & physically challenged individuals.
Duties & Responsibilities (not limited to):
- Comprehensive patient assessment.
- Developing and implementation of nursing care plans.
- Administering treatments – must have solid knowledge of medication- psychiatric medication would be advantageous.
- Ensuring all residents information, care, treatment is recorded appropriately.
- Maintain effective communication with family, health care providers and team members.
- Provide ongoing in-service training and ensure adherence to SOP and policies.
- Maintain a safe environment by ensuring safety procedures are followed as per SOP.
- Managing Shifts.
- Supervising Enrolled Nurses and Caregivers.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: From R18 000,00 per month
