RECEIVING SUPERVISOR (DURBAN) Jobs in Springfield at Kapico sa
The Receiving Supervisor is responsible for the end-to-end management of inbound logistics at the Durban facility. This role ensures that all automotive parts and equipment are meticulously verified, processed through Tecfinity, and stored efficiently to support the sales and distribution chain.
DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the daily workflow of the receiving floor, ensuring that all offloading and inspection activities are conducted safely and meet daily turnaround times.
- Execute all inbound processing within Tecfinity, ensuring purchase orders are closed accurately and stock is reflected in real-time.
- Conduct physical inspections of automotive parts for damages or manufacturer defects. Investigate shortages or over-supply against delivery notes and initiate claims or corrections in the system immediately.
- Supervise the put-away process, ensuring that stock is placed in the correct bins and that the warehouse layout is optimized for picking efficiency.
- Enforce OHS (Occupational Health and Safety) protocols within the receiving bay, ensuring the safe operation of equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Generate daily and weekly reports on receiving volumes, pending deliveries, and system discrepancies for management review.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Education- Grade 12 / Matric.
- Experience- At least 3 years of experience specifically in inbound warehouse logistics or receiving management.
- Industry Knowledge- Familiarity with automotive aftermarket parts and equipment is highly advantageous.
Pay: R5 000,00 – R10 000,00 per month
