Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and quality-driven Quality Final Inspector to join our automotive production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing final inspections on finished products to ensure they meet company quality standards, customer specifications, and industry regulations before dispatch. This role plays a critical part in maintaining product integrity and customer satisfaction.
Educational & Training Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric (Essential)
- Certificate or Quality Management or Manufacturing (Advantageous)
- Training or certification in ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems (Advantageous)
- Knowledge or training in automotive manufacturing standards and inspection processes
- Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Excel, Word, and quality inspection systems)
- Knowledge of measuring instruments (vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges)
Job Requirements & Responsibilities
- Conduct final quality inspections on finished automotive components before shipment.
- Ensure all products meet customer specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
- Identify, record, and report non-conforming products.
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections using measuring equipment.
- Complete and maintain inspection reports, quality documentation, and checklists.
- Liaise with production, quality engineers, and supervisors to resolve quality issues.
- Ensure compliance with company quality procedures and ISO standards.
- Assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality defects.
- Monitor and verify that corrective actions are implemented effectively.
- Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and documentation before dispatch.
