VACANCY: DRIVER / SCHOOL PROMOTERLocation: Durban
Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role Berea Group of Colleges is seeking a dynamic, energetic, and results-driven Driver / School Promoter to support the institution’s student recruitment and marketing initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting the college and its programmes at schools, community events, career exhibitions, and other marketing platforms while ensuring the safe transportation of staff and promotional materials. Key Responsibilities
- Promote the college and its programmes to prospective students, schools, and communities.
- Conduct school visits, presentations, career guidance sessions, and recruitment campaigns.
- Build and maintain relationships with school principals, educators, career guidance counsellors, and community stakeholders.
- Represent the college at career exhibitions, open days, roadshows, and community events.
- Distribute marketing and promotional materials.
- Generate student leads and support enrolment targets.
- Maintain accurate records of school visits, leads generated, and recruitment activities.
- Submit weekly and monthly marketing and recruitment reports.
- Safely operate college vehicles for marketing, recruitment, and operational activities.
- Ensure vehicles are clean, roadworthy, and maintained in accordance with company policies.
- Assist with registration and student recruitment initiatives as required.
Minimum Requirements
- National Diploma, Diploma, or NQF Level 6 qualification in Marketing, Business Management, Public Relations, Communications, Sales, or a related field.
- Valid South African Driver’s Licence (Code B or higher).
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in marketing, sales, student recruitment, promotions, or a related field.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Computer literacy, including MS Office, Email, WhatsApp, and social media platforms.
- Ability to work independently and achieve recruitment targets.
- Willingness to travel extensively and work occasional weekends when required.
- Clean driving record.

- Previous experience in student recruitment, school marketing, TVET colleges, private colleges, higher education institutions, or skills development training providers.
- Knowledge of the South African education, training, and skills development sector.
- Existing relationships with schools and community organisations.
