PROJECT MANAGER Jobs in Johannesburg at Warrior Edge Projects
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and oversee projects from initiation through to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with client specifications and company standards.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
Applicants must possess one of the following:
- Certificate in Project Management with a minimum of 5–8 years relevant project management experience; OR
- Local or International Diploma in Project Management with a minimum of 5–8 years relevant project management experience; OR
- BEng Degree in Engineering; OR
- PMI (Project Management Institute) Accreditation/Certification.
Experience
- Minimum of 5–8 years’ proven experience managing projects in an engineering, construction, industrial, infrastructure, or related environment.
- Demonstrated experience managing project schedules, budgets, resources, and stakeholder expectations.
- Experience in contract administration and project reporting.
- Strong understanding of project risk management and quality assurance principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, monitor, and close projects in accordance with approved project plans.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors to achieve project objectives.
- Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions where required.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Manage project risks, issues, and change requests.
- Prepare and present project progress reports to management and clients.
- Facilitate project meetings and stakeholder engagement.
- Ensure project deliverables meet client and contractual requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement and project efficiency initiatives.
