Key Responsibilities:

Project & Programme Delivery

? Manage and deliver multiple software development projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment to timelines, scope, and budget.

? Oversee end-to-end project lifecycle (initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure).

? Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and delivery roadmaps.

? Ensure delivery is aligned to Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.

Modernisation & Innovation

? Lead delivery of system modernisation initiatives, including legacy transformation and digital platform enhancements.

? Drive innovation initiatives by enabling adoption of modern tools, frameworks, and methodologies.

? Identify opportunities for process optimisation, automation, and improved delivery efficiency.

? Support the transition to modern, scalable, and cloud-aligned solutions.

Stakeholder Management

? Engage with senior business stakeholders, executives, and technical teams to ensure alignment and delivery success.

? Manage expectations across multiple stakeholder groups.

? Facilitate governance forums, steering committees, and project status meetings.

? Ensure effective communication across all levels of the organisation.

Cross-Functional Team Leadership

? Lead and coordinate delivery across cross-functional teams, including:

o Development (Java, .NET)

o QA & Testing

o Business Analysis

o Architecture

o DevOps / Infrastructure

? Ensure collaboration and alignment across all delivery streams.

Governance, Risk & Compliance

? Ensure adherence to project governance frameworks and organisational standards.

? Identify, manage, and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies.

? Maintain accurate reporting on project performance, progress, and risks.

? Ensure compliance with audit and delivery standards (especially in regulated environments).

Process & Delivery Excellence

? Maintain a strong process-driven approach to delivery.

? Drive continuous improvement of project management practices.

? Ensure consistent use of project management methodologies, tools, and standards.

? Promote high-quality delivery practices across all projects.

Qualifications & Experience:

Qualifications:

? Relevant Degree in Information Technology, Business, Computer Science, or related field; or relevant Diploma with extensive experience; or

? Recognised Project Management certifications, such as:

o PMP


o PRINCE2*-


o Agile / Scrum certifications (e.g., SAFe, Scrum Master)

Experience

? Minimum 10+ years? experience as a Project Manager

? Proven experience within the Software Development industry

? Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently

? Extensive experience delivering complex, enterprise-scale projects

? Proven experience in modernisation and transformation initiatives
