About the Role: We are a growing co-packing and production facility in Carlstadt, NJ seeking a Technician / Technical Department to support the maintenance and operation of our packaging and filling equipment. This role is ideal for a hands-on technical professional who can troubleshoot machinery, maintain production equipment. The right candidate will have strong mechanical skills and experience working with industrial or packaging machinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair liquid filling and packaging equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance on production machinery
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic issues
- Coordinate with production staff to minimize downtime
- Support equipment setup, changeovers, and process improvements
- Maintain organized maintenance records and procedures
Requirements
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with industrial machinery, packaging equipment, or manufacturing systems
- Background in production and industrial maintenance, or packaging machinery
- Strong troubleshooting skills (mechanical, pneumatic, electrical)
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
Strongly Preferred
- Experience with filling lines, capping machines, conveyors, labelers, or packaging equipment
- Experience in cosmetics, food, or liquid manufacturing

- Full Time: Monday thru Friday Weekends as needed

Pay: $16.00 – $22.00 per hour
