About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on and highly organised Production Coordinator to manage the build of lifestyle, utility, and camping trailers within our manufacturing environment.
Our products involve a combination of chassis, modular components, and assembly processes, requiring strong planning, coordination, and quality control rather than purely heavy fabrication.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in a structured production or assembly environment, who can ensure builds run efficiently and meet deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and oversee trailer builds from start to finish
- Manage production schedules and workflow across multiple stages
- Interpret and work from technical drawings
- Coordinate material requirements with the purchasing team
- Ensure all components are available ahead of production
- Monitor build quality and enforce standards
- Identify and resolve production bottlenecks or delays
- Drive efficiency and continuous improvement
- Ensure deadlines and delivery targets are consistently met
Minimum Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12)
- 3–5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing, production, or assembly environment
- Proven experience in production planning, coordination, or supervision
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple builds and deadlines
- High attention to detail and strong quality focus
Advantageous
- Experience in trailer manufacturing, automotive, or modular assembly
- Diploma/Degree in Production, Operations, or Engineering
- Trade background (welding, fabrication, boilermaking) – beneficial but not essential
- Project management experience

Pay: R20 000,00 – R25 000,00 per month
