We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Procurement & Inventory Logistics Coordinator to take full ownership of our supply chain and inventory lifecycle. This is not just a "clerk" position; it is a high-accountability role designed for someone who thrives on efficiency and direct vendor management.You will be the primary link between our vendors and our production floor, ensuring that materials are sourced, tracked, and managed with 100% accuracy. By concentrating all purchasing and inventory management into this role, we are removing the "middle-man" to give you direct control over the flow of goods and the success of our production timelines.
Direct Responsibilities (High Accountability)
- Centralized Procurement: Take full ownership of the purchasing pipeline for all raw materials (resin, boxes, international supplies from China, etc.). You will have direct access to vendors to negotiate, place orders, and ensure we never hit a "stock-out" or "empty bin" status.
- Inventory Integrity: Act as the "Source of Truth" for all stock. You will perform regular cycle counts and audits, ensuring our digital records in Thrive and Shopify match our physical inventory perfectly.
- Inbound Logistics & Receiving: Inspect all incoming shipments for quality and quantity. You will directly manage the receiving logs and documentation, resolving any discrepancies or vendor quality issues immediately.
- Carrier & Shipping Management: Directly coordinate with and schedule pickups for all major carriers, including FedEx, UPS, DHL, USPS, and XPO Logistics.
- Returns (RMA) Management: Independently handle the end-to-end process for customer and vendor returns. You will determine the disposition of goods, process credits, and ensure the company recovers maximum value from damaged or incorrect items.
- Amazon FBA Coordination: Assist in managing inventory levels and logistics specifically for Amazon FBA and webstore fulfillment.
Skills & Qualifications
- Software Expertise: Direct, hands-on experience with Shopify and Inventory Management Software (Thrive) is highly preferred.
- Shipping Platforms: Must be proficient in Shippo, Amazon Seller Central, and carrier-specific software (USPS, UPS, XPO).
- Logistics Experience: Proven experience in a warehouse or distribution environment, specifically in a role that required direct vendor interaction and independent decision-making.
- Technical Aptitude: Comfort around basic shop equipment and hand tools. While fabrication and production (chop-saw work) are minimal in this role, a basic mechanical understanding of a warehouse environment is necessary.
- Soft Skills: Strong negotiation skills, professional communication, and a "problem-solver" mindset. You should be someone who values data integrity and hates seeing an "empty bin."
Physical Requirements
- Heavy Lifting: Must be able to lift and move 50–75 lbs multiple times a day when stocking raw materials or processing large incoming shipments.
- Environment: This role operates in a warehouse/production setting and requires being on your feet for extended periods.
Performance Success Metrics (KPIs)Your performance will be measured by clear, meaningful metrics that you directly control:
- Inventory Accuracy: Minimizing discrepancies between physical and digital stock levels.
- Zero Stock-Outs: Ensuring production never halts due to a procurement oversight.
- Error Rate: Maintaining a near-zero error rate in receiving and returns processing.
- Shipping Efficiency: Identifying cost-saving opportunities in carrier selection and logistics.

Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
