What You’ll Do
- Prepare vegetables, proteins, seafood, sauces, dressings, and other menu components according to recipes and chef specifications.
- Complete daily prep lists accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain proper labeling, dating, and food rotation (FIFO).
- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards.
- Keep prep areas clean, organized, and stocked throughout the shift.
- Work closely with the Chef and line cooks to ensure dinner service is fully prepared.
- Assist with receiving, stocking, and organization of deliveries as needed.
- Support the kitchen team with closing responsibilities.
Qualifications
- 1+ year of prep cook or line cook experience preferred.
- Strong knife skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Dependable with excellent attendance.
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Evening, weekend, and holiday availability.
