About Red Oak Restoration

Red Oak Restoration is a growing restoration and reconstruction company specializing in water, fire, and mold remediation, with a strong focus on rebuild work, bathroom remodels, kitchen remodels, and interior reconstruction.

We are hiring this role to help us build a more consistent, professional, and profitable rebuild division.

The right candidate will be part estimator, part sales closer, and part customer facing construction consultant.

What You Will Do

You will be responsible for managing qualified rebuild, kitchen, and bathroom opportunities from initial lead through signed contract and project handoff.

Red Oak Restoration will provide approximately 40 qualified leads per month. These may include restoration related rebuild opportunities, bathrooms, kitchens, basement repairs, drywall, flooring, painting, carpentry, and other interior reconstruction projects.

Your job is to schedule the appointment, inspect the property, understand the customer’s needs, build a clear scope, send the estimate within 24 hours, follow up consistently, close the work, and complete a clean handoff to the Project Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule and book appointments with qualified rebuild, kitchen, bathroom, and interior reconstruction leads
  • Inspect residential properties after water, fire, mold, or other property damage
  • Estimate reconstruction work including bathrooms, kitchens, basements, drywall, flooring, painting, carpentry, tile, trim, cabinetry, countertops, and related repairs
  • Send completed estimates to clients within 24 hours of inspection whenever possible
  • Sell and close bathroom remodels, kitchen remodels, and interior rebuild projects
  • Identify upgrade opportunities when a restoration job creates a natural remodeling opportunity
  • Meet with homeowners to explain scope, pricing, material options, timelines, and next steps
  • Build accurate and profitable estimates using Xactimate, estimating software, or company templates
  • Communicate with insurance adjusters when needed on scope, supplements, and claim related items
  • Maintain strong follow up with open estimates and unsold opportunities
  • Protect company margins by avoiding under scoped or underpriced work
  • Complete a detailed handoff sheet for the Project Manager after a job is sold
  • Include scope, photos, measurements, selections, allowances, notes, timeline expectations, and customer expectations in the handoff
  • Track leads, appointments, estimates, follow ups, signed contracts, and job status updates in the company CRM
  • Work with project managers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal team members to support a smooth customer experience
  • Help improve Red Oak Restoration’s rebuild, kitchen, and bath sales process

What Success Looks Like

  • Schedule and complete appointments quickly after leads are received
  • Send estimates to clients within 24 hours of inspection whenever possible
  • Maintain a minimum 25% close rate on qualified opportunities
  • Target a 35%+ close rate on rebuild, bathroom, and kitchen opportunities
  • Sell profitable bathroom projects averaging approximately $12,000 to $15,000+
  • Close larger kitchen, basement, and interior reconstruction projects when available
  • Maintain strong gross margin discipline
  • Complete estimates quickly, accurately, and professionally
  • Follow up consistently until the customer makes a decision
  • Complete detailed handoff sheets for the Project Manager after each sold job
  • Create clean handoffs with minimal production confusion
  • Communicate professionally with homeowners, adjusters, subcontractors, and internal team members

Compensation Plan

This role includes a base salary, company vehicle, uncapped commission, and eligibility for the company’s profit share program after 6 months of successful employment.

Commission is based on collected gross profit and is tied to close rate, job profitability, documentation quality, and successful project handoff.

Commission structure may include:

  • 10% of collected gross profit on qualifying closed jobs
  • Higher commission tiers for strong close rates and profitable sold work
  • Reduced commission rates if close rate falls below minimum performance standards
  • Revenue bonus tiers for high monthly or quarterly production
  • Profit share eligibility after 6 months based on performance and company profitability

Commission is uncapped. High performers will have significant earning potential.

Qualifications

  • Experience estimating or selling residential remodeling, reconstruction, restoration, insurance repair, kitchen, or bathroom projects
  • Strong understanding of interior construction, finish work, materials, and customer expectations
  • Ability to scope bathrooms, kitchens, drywall, flooring, tile, painting, carpentry, cabinetry, countertops, and related work
  • Experience with Xactimate is strongly preferred
  • Strong sales ability and comfort asking for the signed contract
  • Ability to build trust with homeowners and explain options clearly
  • Strong follow up discipline
  • Ability to manage a high volume of leads without losing attention to detail
  • Comfortable scheduling appointments, managing a calendar, and owning customer follow up

  • Professional, organized, accountable, and motivated by performance based compensation
