Plumber Journeyman Jobs in Miami, FL at Confidential
The Licensed Plumber will install, repair, and maintain plumbing and wastewater systems for federal projects, including new construction, renovation, and environmental infrastructure upgrades.
Responsibilities
- Install, assemble, and test PEX, PVC, and HDPE piping systems.
- Perform new construction and retrofit plumbing, including sanitary and vent piping, backflow, and drainage systems.
- Support installation of treatment tanks, pumps, and control panels in coordination with mechanical crews.
- Read and interpret blueprints and isometric drawings to plan and execute plumbing layouts.
- Conduct pressure and flow tests per Florida Building Code and project QA/QC standards.
- Troubleshoot and repair existing systems on renovation projects.
- Maintain compliance with OSHA, EPA, and state/local building codes.
- Complete required project documentation and inspections.
Qualifications
- Active Plumbing License (Florida CFC or equivalent out-of-state journeyman/master) required.
- Minimum 3–5 years of plumbing experience; PEX and HDPE fusion experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of commercial/residential construction plumbing and wastewater systems.
- Ability to read blueprints, perform measurements, and use trade math accurately.
- Must be willing to travel and work in remote or outdoor environments.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 – $50.00 per hour
