Job Description
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking General Construction Worker to join our team. This role involves the installation of underground conduit systems for electric utility projects. The ideal candidate is comfortable with physically demanding work in outdoor environments and enjoys working as part of a crew to complete projects safely and efficiently.
Duties
- Install underground conduit systems for electrical infrastructure following company and industry standards
- Perform trenching, backfilling, and other underground utility work
- Engage in manual labor such as digging, shoveling, and lifting heavy materials (up to 65 lbs.)
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Maintain a clean, safe job site at all times
- Collaborate with crew members and supervisors to meet deadlines
- Operate and maintain company tools and equipment responsibly
- Occasionally drive company vehicles to and from job sites (valid driver’s license required)
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies
Skills
- Prior experience in underground utility installation is a plus (training provided for the right candidate)
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in all weather conditions
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
Work Conditions
- Outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Extended periods of standing, kneeling, and bending
- Early mornings or extended hours may be required depending on project needs
