With 13 offices across 10 states and a 37‑year legacy, we’re expanding rapidly — and our Central Florida operations need sharp, reliable Permit Technicians to keep projects moving and compliant.
This role is essential to our installation workflow. You’ll work closely with our installation teams, operations leadership, and local municipalities to ensure every job is permitted, scheduled, documented, and closed out accurately and on time.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare, submit, track, and close out permits for water heaters, and related residential installations
- Communicate with city/county permitting departments
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and compliance files
- Coordinate with installation and service teams to ensure permit requirements are met before and after installation
- Schedule inspections and follow up on results to ensure timely completion
- Support operations with administrative tasks tied to permitting, compliance, and job readiness
- Monitor permit timelines and proactively escalate delays or issues
- Ensure all documentation meets state, county, and municipal standards
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in permitting, construction administration, utilities, HVAC, plumbing, or similar fields
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Ability to manage multiple open permits across multiple jurisdictions
- Excellent communication skills with both internal teams and municipal offices
- Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and digital document management
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment
- Clean background and valid driver’s license
