Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter / Refinisher to join our yacht refinishing team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, stains, and finishes to a variety of surfaces, ensuring yacht-quality results. You will help the team transform interiors through precise surface preparation, color application, and refinishing techniques. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that require craftsmanship, attention to detail, and a passion for quality work.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and repairing imperfections to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Apply primers, paints, stains, varnishes, and specialty finishes using hand tools and power tools such as airless sprayers and brushes.
- Maintain safety standards on site by using appropriate personal protective equipment and following safety protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience in automotive and or furniture painting, with a strong understanding of surface preparation techniques and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with sanders, power tools (including airless paint sprayers), and other painting equipment.
- Must have transportation.
- Knowledge of color theory to select appropriate colors and finishes for various projects.
