An exciting opportunity has become available for a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join a leading luxury hospitality and lifestyle business. This role is ideal for a finance professional who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and is passionate about maintaining accurate financial records while supporting the wider finance team.

The successful candidate will play an important role in the day-to-day financial operations of the business, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficient financial administration across multiple functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Capture and reconcile cash books and daily cash-ups
• Process general ledger transactions and journal entries
• Manage debtors administration, invoicing, reconciliations, and collections
• Process creditors invoices, reconciliations, and payment loading
• Assist with stock administration, invoice capturing, and monthly stocktakes
• Manage petty cash administration
• Order centralised goods and supplies
• Provide general finance and office administration support
• Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and reporting

Requirements:

• Grade 12 qualification
• Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, or Bookkeeping (completed or in progress)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar accounting or finance role
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
• Experience with Pastel (Sage) Evolution or similar accounting software
• Previous hospitality, agriculture, or related industry experience will be advantageous
• Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently while maintaining strong relationships across departments
• Flexible, accountable, and able to take ownership of responsibilities
